Justice Minister Fikret Mammadov meets with Chairperson of Slovakian Constitutional Court

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Justice Minister and Chairman of Court-Legal Council of Azerbaijan Fikret Mammadov met with Chairperson of the Slovakian Constitutional Court Ivetta Matsejkova, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, press service of the Justice Ministry told APA. Minister Mammadov emphasized the friendship and successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and reminded about the visit of Slovakian Justice Minister Stephan Haraby to Azerbaijan last May and signing of memorandum between the justice ministries of both countries. He said he believed in further development of legal cooperation between the countries.
Matsejkova said Slovakia gave an importance to the extension of its relations with Azerbaijan. They emphasized similarities between the court systems of Slovakia and Azerbaijan and stressed to strengthen usefulness of fair judgment, democratic and progressive education and election of judges, easing ways for the citizens to appeal the courts, as well as to improve activity of the regional appeal courts. The guests visited the Justice History Museum at the ministry.
