APA reports that Ahmad Guliyev presided over the hearing. The court found Sabuhi Damirov guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in jail. Elsever Mammadov and Ismayil Guliyev were acquitted and released. The court also passed a special judgment to investigate the case of inspector of Shirvan prosecutor’s office Vahid Akbarov.
According to the indictment, the defendants kidnapped and killed resident of Karrar village Bahruz Bagirzadeh, 10. They faced charges under articles 144 (kidnapping) and 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
