Court accepts petition of Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadehâ€™s lawyers

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Sabayel district court has held hearing on case of imprisoned Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh, APA reports. Araz Huseynov presided over the hearing. Police officers of Sabayel district police Rovshan Huseynov and Murad Salimov gave testimony. They said they were on duty at 39th police unit of Sabayel district on that day and no one from the defendants was brought to the police office. Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh said they went to the 39th police unit to complain about those who beat them.

Then persons, who were together with them on that day at the restaurant â€“ Bahran Ahmadli, Ulvi Hasanli and Nuraddin Babayev gave testimony. The participant of scuffle said that the persons, known in the investigative materials as aggrieved men, insulted and beat Emin Milli.

Lawyers of the defendants Elton Guliyev and Isakhan Ashurov gave petition to the court and asked to invite expert doctor who examined the scuffle participants to the court. The judge accepted their petition. Then lawyers submitted photos of Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh after the scuffle.
The hearing will be continued on October 7.

Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh were detained in connection with the incident happened in Lebanese restaurant in Azerbaijanâ€™s capital on July 8. They faced charges under Articles 127.2.3 (inflicting minor bodily harm) and 221.2.1 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
