Azerbaijani prosecuting authorities celebrate their holiday - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Azerbaijani prosecuting authorities celebrate their holiday today, APA reports. On this occasion, the personnel of Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office and Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office under the leadership of Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov visited Heydar Aliyevâ€™s grave in the Alley of Honors and Martyrsâ€™ Alley. Zakir Garalov told journalists that prosecuting authorities have been celebrating their holiday for 11 years.
â€œThis holiday is the present of Heydar Aliyev. Under the order issued by Heydar Aliyev in 1998, October 1 is celebrated as a holiday of prosecuting authorities. The selection of this date is not accidental. Prosecutorâ€™s office was established under Baku Supreme Court on October 1, 1918,â€ he said.

Zakir Garalov said prosecuting authorities are undergoing improvement, modernization and reconstruction.
â€œLast year President Ilham Aliyev confirmed a very important sate program. The program on the modernization of the activity of the prosecuting authorities envisages a number of changes for 2009-2011. We are engaged in the realization of these changes,â€ he said.
