The security forcers prevented smuggling of 114 boxes of China-made mobile phones, large deal of lighters and some domestic goods to Russia via Azerbaijan.
The smugglers resisted with to security forces and shot out with them. Member of the organized group, resident of Khachmaz region, Rafig Shirzal Fatullayev, 23 was killed during the shooting. Other member of the group, Chechen citizen Yunis Nesenovich Zabirov, 33 was wounded. He was hospitalized in Khachmaz.
The operational-investigative measures are continued.
