Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. “The judges violating law are punished by the Judicial Council, enough judges have been punished up to now,” Chairman of Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev said, APA reports. He said if judges violate law seriously, it is considered in the Judicial Council.
“We approach it seriously,” he said.
Rzayev said violations are mainly connected with the summons of sides.
“When they commit serious violation, their decision is cancelled. There are judges who were dismissed for this. Chairmen of courts in Astara and Gandja were demoted. The question is not the punishment of judges. The aim is to improve the judiciary in order to increase the trust in courts. The man whose rights were violated appeals to court to restore his right. It causes serious problems when court violates law,” he said.
