The ministry representatives said both of the persons infected with the virus are citizens of Azerbaijan. One of them is the resident of Baku and the other Gandja. One of them came from France and the other from London. One of the patients appealed himself. The other having high temperature was examined while crossing the border. Gasimov said the patients feel normal, they are being treated. Antiviral drug “Oseltamivir” given by the World Health Organization is injected to the patients. All the persons, who contacted the patients, have been defined, they are under control. One of the patients was taken to Scientific-Research Pulmonology Institute, the other to Children’s Infectious Hospital #7.

According to the department chief, information has been gained about the passengers of the two planes from England and France, they are under control.

Gasimov said there is no need to apply WHO’s recommendation to prolong summer holidays at schools.
“WHO also has other recommendations. Those recommendations are to go to medical facilities in case of symptoms, obey personal hygiene and refrain from traveling to the countries where the disease was recorded,” he said.
