Orkhan Aliyev was sentenced for six years of imprisonment and Rafet Gurbanov for four years of restriction.
Orkhan Aliyev, who rented an apartment in the building where he used the rubber gas pipeline that caused an explosion, was charged under article 124.2 (murder on imprudence of two or more persons131.1. Causing of minor serious harm to health on imprudence), 131.2 (causing of serious harm to health on imprudence), 187.3 (destruction or damage on imprudence of another’s property, causing damage to the victim in a significant size) of the Criminal Code. Gurbanov was charged for not controlling the situation.
