Adnan Hajizadeh’s appeal rejected

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. On Monday, Baku Appeal Court addressed the appeal of the co-founder of Ol Youth Movement Adnan Hajizadeh. According to APA, the court presided by judge Mirpasha Huseynov rejected the appeal of defense lawyers about the annulment of the first instance court’s decision about two-month pre-trial restriction of Adnan Hajizadeh and recognition of his constitutional rights.
Lawyer Isakhan Ashurov told journalists that they complained about that Adnan Hajizadeh didn’t pass medical examination to identify injuries he received during the incident in Lebanese restaurant.
The Baku Appeal Court rejected the appeal of the founder of Alumni Youth Network Emin Milli. Representatives of the diplomatic corpse in Baku were outside the court building during the process which was held behind the closed doors.
Hajizadeh and Milli were attacked by unknown people in Lebanese restaurant on July 8 in Sabayel district of Baku. Police detained Hajizadeh and Milli for investigation and released the persons attacked them. They face with charges under 221.2 (hooliganism by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code and were detained for two-month pending trial by the Sabayel district court’s decision on July 11.
