Baku Appeal Court hears Adnan Hajizadeh and Emin Milli appeals

Baku Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. On Friday, Baku Appeal Court held hearing of appeals by Adnan Hajizadeh, co-founder of Ol Youth Movement and Emin Milli, representative of Alumni Youth Network on the decision of Sabayel district court. Hearings were held in separate court sessions despite that both were accused in same case. Defense lawyers demanded to cancel the court decision about pre-trial restriction of the defendants and to allow them to attend the next hearings. The court decided to allow Hajizadeh and Milli to attend the next hearings.

The process will be continued on July 20.

Hajizadeh and Milli were attacked by unknown people on July 8 in Lebanese restaurant in Baku. Police detained them and released the attackers after the testimony. Hajizade and Milli face with charges under article 221.2 (hooliganism by a group of persons) of the Penal Code. The Sabayel district court passed decision about two months pre-trial restrictions of two on July 11.
