Department chief of military commissariat did not commit murder in Gandja

Gandja. Jamshid Bakhtiyar â€“ APA. It became known that chief of the 2nd department of Nizami district military commissariat of Gandja Safar Bayramov did not commit the murder on May 23. Gandja prosecutorâ€™s office told APAâ€™s west bureau that not S. Bayramov, but his nephew Elvin Ogtay Bayramov killed Joshgun Inshallah Mardanov, 24.

Prosecutorâ€™s office said on May 23 S. Bayramov was on duty, his nephew Elvin stayed at his house. In the morning E. Bayramov met Mardanov in the neighboring room and they had a quarrel. E. Bayramov knifed Mardanov to death. E. Bayramov immediately phoned his uncle S. Bayramov and told him about the incident.

Gandja prosecutorâ€™s office launched criminal case on the fact on article 120 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code, E. Bayramov was taken under the control of the police.

The incident happened at 05.30 on May 23, 2009. According to the initial reports, Safar Bayramov committed the murder. Interior Ministry also noted in its statement issued on May 23 that Safar Bayramov committed the murder.
