Kamran Asadov threatens journalists in the court hearing

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. The next hearing on the case of former officer of Azerbaijani Army Kamran Asadov and 19 others continued in the Military Court of Grave Crimes. APA reports that judge Islam Neymanov presided over the process and defendants made speeches. Defendant Ilkin Ismaylov noted that the idea of preparing terror attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baku belonged to Kamran Asadov. Y. Maharramov confessed his guilty with 38.1 article of the Criminal Code.
Further, defendant Kamran Asadov made a speech and noted that he protected Allah with his every action and confessed that he went to military service to get weapons for jihad. In the court hearing, he also threatened journalists who called him vahhabist and said he would kill those journalists after the imprisonment.
The hearing will continue on May 29.
Kamran Asadov, Bakhtiyar Orujov, Farid Jabbarov, Elshan Mammadov, Kamran Babayev, Samir Mehraliyev, Tarlan Karimov, Edgar Aliyev, Ramil Karimov, Shirvani Babayev, Samir Aliyev, Yalchin Maharramov, Orkhan Alizadeh, Hajibala Huseynov, Azer Ibadov, Shahriyar Maharramov, Ramin Jalilov, Rovshan Abdulaliyev, Ilkin Ismayilov and Vugar Aliyev are accused of setting up a radical religious group, attempting to start military struggle, attacking on LUKoil petrol station in Baku, preparing terror attack on the U.S. and UK embassies in Azerbaijan.
