Conference on â€œImplementation of legal authority right of the European Court of Human Rights in Azerbaijanâ€™s court systemâ€

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. The Council of Europe, Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation and Azerbaijan Judges Association organized the conference on the â€œImplementation of legal authority right of the European Court of Human Rights in Azerbaijanâ€™s court systemâ€, dedicated to 60th anniversary of the Council of Europe, APA reports. Legal-justice reforms in the country, report on the work done, the learning of the legal authority right of the European Court of Human Rights and practice aspects of its implementation were discussed at the conference.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation and chairman of Milli Mejlis Committee for Legal Policy and State-Building Ali Huseynov, Special Representative of the Council of Europe in Azerbaijan Veronica Koteck, chairman of the Judges Association and chairman of the Yasamal district court Aladdin Jafarov addressed the opening ceremony.

Azerbaijanâ€™s representative to the European Court of Human Rights, member of the Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation Governors Board Chingiz Asgarov delivered speech about the learning of legal authority right of the European Court.

Chief of the Legal-Justice Councilâ€™s administration, member of the Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation Governors Board Javid Huseynov made report on the court reforms in the country.

Then the conference was continued in debates.
