Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office spread information about the murder committed last year in Baku

Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office told APA that Narimanov District Police Office received information about the missing of the resident of Baku Rahamati Sirail Rahamatullah, 43 on June 8, 2008. Operational searches didnâ€™t give results and law-enforcement organizations started working on the version of murder. Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office launched a criminal case under article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code.

As a result of joint investigation conducted by the prosecutorâ€™s and police offices it became clear that Atashov Kamil Sardar and Jafarov Elkhan Hamid agreed to kill Rahmati Sirail Rahmatullah to misappropriate great amount of his money. Atashov invited Rahmati to cafÃ© and then called Jafarov. They took Rahmati in the Jafarovâ€™s car to summer residence in Mardakan. They robbed his credit card and mobile phone Nokia 8800 and left him tied and with pasted mouth there.
They withdrew a sum form his bank account. Next morning they returned to Mardakan and found Rahmati dead. They buried his body in the yard of that summer residence. Kamil Atashov and Elkahn Jafarov were detained as suspects for criminal case and they expected to face with charges under articles 120.2.1 (deliberate murder committed by group of persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, by organized group or criminal community (organization)
and 120.2.5 (deliberate murder committed on mercenary prompting or by order, as well as with a view of use a body of a victim) of the Criminal Code. They admitted their guilt. Rahmatiâ€™s body was exhumated and given to the forensic examination. The investigation is going on.
