Former employees of the State Anti-Monopoly Service under the Ministry of Economic Development go on trial

Judge Alovsat Abbasov presided over the process. The haring was scheduled on June 4. Samir Dadashov didnâ€™t attend the court.
Samir Dadashovâ€™s pre-trial detention was substituted with house imprisonment because of his illness. Shahmirzayev and Alakbarov are in the preliminary investigative detention in Bayil, Mammadov was released on bail.
Samir Dadashov, Yalchin Mammadov, Ilham Shahmirzayev and Idrak Alakbarov were detained by the Ministry of National Security on August 4, 2008. They are facing with charges under articles 179 (assignment or waste), 179.2.1 (on preliminary arrangement by group of persons), 308 (abusing official powers),
311.1 (reception by official personally or through intermediary of a bribe as money, securities, other property or benefits of property nature on actions (inaction) for the benefit of the briber or person represented by him, if such actions (inaction) are included into service powers of the official or it by virtue of official position can promote such actions (inaction), as well as for the general protection or indifference on service), 311.2 (reception by official of a bribe for illegal actions (inaction), 311.3.1 (on preliminary arrangement by group of persons or organized group), 311.3.3 (in the large amount), 313 (service forgery) of the Criminal Code.
