30 trespassers detained in Azerbaijan last month

Baku â€“ APA. 30 trespassers were detained in 19 cases in Azerbaijan in April. Press service of State Border Service told APA that the trespassers are citizens of Iran (12), Azerbaijan (8), Georgia (7), Russia (1), Turkmenistan (1) and 1 stateless person.
279 people were detained in 191 cases for violating border regime rules, 59 people were detained in 39 cases for not having visa, 29 people were detained in 19 cases, as the term of their visa expired, 29 people were detained in 21 cases for not having relevant documents.
103 wanted people were detained and handed over to the law-enforcement bodies.
58.150.5kg narcotics were confiscated in 8 cases.
4 ships and 18 boats of Azerbaijan and 1 ship of Russia were detained while checking rules along the Caspian Sea. 5 Azerbaijani citizens ignoring border regime rules were detained in 2 boats.
Smuggled goods worth AZN 228.715, including 1 projectile, 2886 medications, a great deal of cigarettes and alcoholic drinks, food, industrial and agricultural products, 183 small cattle and 45 cattle were confiscated in 49 cases.
