44-year old Azerbaijani businessman killed in Moscow

Moscow â€“APA. An Azerbaijani man was killed in Moscow on May 5. The murder took place at about 22.30 in Chisti Prudi district of Moscow. Two unknown people fired on the man in his Mercedes with automatic gun and escaped from the site leaving the gun there.

The witnesses took the wounded man to the hospital, but he died on the way. A criminal case was launched on the fact.

The investigators found out that the killed man was a 44-year old Azerbaijani. Interfax reported that he was a businessman. He reportedly was charged for the deliberate murder in 1995, but then accusations against him were not confirmed. Police said they investigated his possible relations with the organized criminal groups in Moscow.

RIA Novosty reported the killed man was previously sentenced. It is not known what business he was doing in Moscow.

Life.ru announced the name of killed man. He was Najafov Igbal Tahmaz. His Mercedes GL 450 was registered under the name of 28-year old woman.
