In his speech, Samad Seyidov noted that there are some people who criticize Azerbaijan and the policy pursued: “It is natural; there can be different views on this or other issue. But I recommend these people to watch TV and read newspapers. Children and old people die on the front line in Azerbaijan. Why don’t they discuss this issue?”, APA’s special correspondent in Strasbourg reports.
S. Seyidov stressed that within last 10 years Azerbaijan increased its economic power by far, the levels of education and culture rose. He emphasized that today the Council of Europe strives for the cooperation and becoming friend with Azerbaijan. “This is outcome of the effective policy pursued by the Azerbaijani government. Azerbaijan’s membership in the Council of Europe is useful for both parties”, said Samad Seyidov.
