Azerbaijani President awarded Jubilee Medal of International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of Black Sea and Caspian Sea

APA reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was awarded Jubilee Medal for supporting the initiative to establish the international fund and making particular contributions to its activities.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Turkish Deputy Minister for EU Affairs Alaattin Büyükkaya said that the Fund attaches great importance to the relations with EU. Speaking about the activities of the Fund, he noted that about 300 cultural, social and economic projects had been implemented so far.

President of International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of Black Sea and Caspian Sea, member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ä°smail Safi gave information about the organization's 5-year activity and future plans. He said that main objective of this organization having representatives from 20 countries is to establish cooperation in the field of economic development, environment, science, education, cultural diversity, tolerance and intercultural dialogue between the Caspian Sea and Black Sea regions. Touching on the activity of Azerbaijan within the institution, the MP expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev. He said that Azerbaijani President was awarded Jubilee Medal for supporting the initiative to establish the international fund and making particular contributions to its activities.
