Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets with Energy Minister of South African Republic

Baku - APA. As a part of his visit to the Republic of South Africa, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with the country's Energy Minister Dikobe Ben Martins.

Foreign Ministry's press service told APA that the ministers exchanged views on the development of energy relations between Azerbaijan and the Republic of South Africa.

Noting that Azerbaijan was ready to share experience in the field of energy, Elmar Mammadyarov said three energy experts from the Republic of South Africa attended various qualification trainings in Azerbaijan through the grants allocated by Azerbaijan International Development Agency, added that the cooperation could be enhanced.

Dikobe Ben Martins said the representatives of Energy Ministry of the Republic of South Africa visited and held meetings in Azerbaijan in 2012-2013. He said there were favourable conditions to enhance energy cooperation between the two countries.
