Azerbaijani delegation also attended the summit.
Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Elchin Efendiyev told APA that the traditional Nowruz Summit is held in March every year.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that Nowruz Summit was perfectly organized in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
“Meetings were held with Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Greetings and Nowruz congratulations of Azerbaijani President were conveyed to the presidents. Meetings were also held with the heads of the delegations of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan,” he said.

"There was a terror threat in Kabul. After we returned from Kabul, we were told that the hotel, where we had stayed was exploded, 11 died. Blast has today occurred outside the Central Election Commission. All this is happening on the eve of the presidential elections on April 5-6.
