Baku. Victoria Dementyeva - APA. Azerbaijan will open a diplomatic mission in Montevideo, APA reports quoting press and public relations department of Uruguayan Foreign Ministry.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzade met with Uruguayan Foreign Minister Luis Almagro and other officials of this country in Buenos Aires on December 19. It was announced that the works are underway on the opening of Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Montevideo, the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
Uruguayan Foreign Ministry reported that the opening of Azerbaijan's diplomatic mission in Uruguay opens a new stage in strengthening relations of the two countries.
