The co-rapporteurs will hold meetings with officials, representatives of political parties and NGOs. The aim of the visit is to observe the implementation of the commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan. The co-rapporteurs are expected to raise the issue on the arrest of Anar Mammadli, head of the Election Monitoring and Democracy Studies Center.
During their visit in June, Joseph Debono Grech and Pedro Agramunt said they started preparing a new report on Azerbaijan, the document would be ready 2 or 2 and a half years.
The co-rapporteurs’ first report on Azerbaijan was discussed and confirmed during January session of PACE.
