"We are together today, and we will remain together in the future," President Ilham Aliyev said during a joint press statement with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.
"Despite my dear brother's busy schedule, his presence here in Karabakh on Victory Day once again demonstrates our unity to the entire world.
I am confident that this unity will last forever. I know that no one in Türkiye or Azerbaijan has any doubts about this. We have stood together in the past, we stood together during the war, we stand together today, and we will continue to stand together in the future. I believe that this is precisely the main outcome of this historic visit.
Of course, when discussing bilateral relations, we can talk about many issues. All these matters are well known. Political and economic relations, investments, energy, transport corridors, the Zangezur Corridor — all of these were discussed extensively today. However, I believe that the main outcome of the visit is exactly what I have said: Türkiye-Azerbaijan unity is eternal and unshakable," the head of state emphasized.
