Goranboy. Teymur Zahidoglu–APA. Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic visited Gornaboy Region of Azerbaijan. After the short tour on the region, the guest visited Heydar Aliyev Museum and Museum of History and Ethnography in Goranboy City, APA Karabakh bureau reports. Then the diplomat together with the head of regional executive power Elshan Abbasov and member of the parliament Gultakin Hajiyeva visited the frontline village of Tap-Garagoyunlu and met with local residents and took interest in their problems.

Ambassador Kilic told journalists that President Ilham Aliyev recommended him to visit the frontline regions and to meet the local residents there, when he was appointed to Azerbaijan. “At first I visited Tovuz Region and met with the people of frontline villages. Now I am together with the residents of Goranboy’s Tap-Garagoyunlu Village. I am very pleased with my visit. I met the people and saw their problems and difficult living conditions”.

Speaking about the recent publications in Turkish newspapers about Azerbaijan, the ambassador said those publications could not shadow the inter-State relations. “Read the newspapers, but don’t believe everything there. Turkey tries to establish its relations with all its neighbors in the highest level”. Kilic also answered the question about the Turkish-Armenian relations. “Turkey intends to have normal relations with Armenia, as it has with other neighbors, but it can be realized only after the peaceful liberation of Azerbaijani lands from the occupation”.
