Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. David Plouffe, who served as campaign manager for Barack Obama in the 2008 U.S. presidential election, delivered a lecture at Baku’s Western University on the theme “Election in America – formation and management of campaignâ€. APA reports that teachers and students of the university attended the lecture.
David Plouffe told journalists after the lecture that they had interesting discussions on elections and democracy. Plouffe refused to answer political questions and said it was a personal visit.
David Plouffe is scheduled to have meetings in the President’s Office.
David Plouffe served as campaign manager for Barack Obama in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Barack Obama called him "the unsung hero of this campaignâ€.
