Mubariz Gurbanli: The attitude towards the situation in the occupied Azerbaijani territories should not be restricted to reports, but concrete steps should be taken to eliminate the results of the occupation

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œIt is good that OSCE assessment mission carried out investigation in our occupied territories. The visit of such a mission and the information obtained by them is very important for exposing Armenia on the level of the international organizations,â€ Deputy Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), MP Mubariz Gurbanli said in his interview to the YAPâ€™s website.

Mubariz Gurbanli said that the report of the mission contained facts describing Armeniaâ€™s aggressive policy. According to him, the assessment mission witnessed the destroyed settlements in our occupied territories, generally the damage to Azerbaijan.
â€œIn this respect, the missionâ€™s activity helps the international community, international organizations, including OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs reveal new facts regarding the occupation by Armenia.â€
Deputy Executive Secretary of YAP considers that the attitude towards the situation in the occupied Azerbaijani territories should not be restricted to reports, statements, but should be completed with concrete activities.

Mubariz Gurbanli said the attitude towards aggressors and those who patronize them must be unambiguous.
â€œStrange process is observed in the world policy. We are openly observing double standards. On the one hand coalitions are formed against certain countries, there is military intervention in these countries. On the other hand, no pressure is exerted on the aggressor. Azerbaijanâ€™s territories are under Armenian occupation for about 20 years. All cultural, historical monuments have been destroyed in these territories, natural resources plundered, infrastructure destroyed. Against the background of all this we see that the international organizations â€“ UN, OSCE and other organizations do not react seriously to the occupation by Armenia. Azerbaijan has informed the international organizations about these happenings. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyevâ€™s attack diplomacy, policy pursued by him play important role in informing the world about the truths related to our country. But we do not see the resolute position of the leading countries, especially of the co-chairs. We feel regret about it, this causes discontent of the Azerbaijani people and reduces belief in the international organizations,â€ he said.
