Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. The Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the EU "Eastern Partnership" (Euronest) decided to start its work without the participation of representatives of Belarus on January 26. According to the Polish deputy, Jacek Protasiewicz, this decision will be discussed by the Conference of heads of political groups in the European Parliament, which will make the final decision, APA reports quoting the Belarusian news agencies.
Jacek Protasiewicz noted that the first Euronest meeting will be held in the next two months in case of agreement between the leaders of political groups

He considers is as right decision because it doesn’t prevent the Euronest work. He said first meeting could be held without Belarus. Then they will decide whether to give 10 Euronest seats allocated for Belarus to the representatives of the civil society or to save it until the free elections or to give five seats to opposition and to save five.

Euronest will include 60 members of the European Parliament and 10 representatives from the national parliaments of the Eastern Partnership six participant countries. Different versions of Belarusian representation were discussed, but not accepted by Minsk and some EU countries. Therefore Euronest meeting was delayed.
