Azerbaijani parliamentarian calles on PACE to adopt sanctions against Armenia

Rafael Huseynov appreciated activities of PACE in the promotion of democratic principles in the world, but at the same time, he drew attention to problems in the implementation of decisions taken by the Council of Europe.

â€Credibility of the international organization is determined primarily by the implementation of decisions taken", - He said.

Huseynov emphasized that as an invader recognized Armenia by the UN and the Council of Europe in violation of the statute CE lays various obstacles in the work of this committee. â€œCE does not show adequate response to the outrage perpetrated country, does not adopt sanctions. Ultimately, this situation creates the basis for the neglect of the decisions of the Council of Europeâ€, - Huseynov said.

Taking care of its authority, credibility international organization must have the will and determination that to realize decisions that wrote on paper. CE has to begin its reforms just from this, Huseynov said.
