Samad Seyidov: â€œWe do not think to confine Nagorno Karabakh problem within the framework of the Committeeâ€

Council of Europe is itself Nagorno Karabakh committee for us. Of course, I say it symbolicallyâ€, head of Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov said, APAâ€™s European bureau reports.

Seyidov noted that main direction, purpose and policy of the delegation is to present most painful issue of Azerbaijan - Nagorno Karabakh problem to the Council of Europe: â€œIt maybe directly or indirectly. The main issue is to maintain this problem on the agenda of CoE and achieve steps for liberation of Azerbaijani lands. That is why, the Council of Europe is a committee on Nagorno Karabakh for us. We do not think to confine the issue within the framework of committee comprising 2-3 persons. Functioning of another committee is in our favor. But we must consider this problem globally, achieve discussion of Nagorno Karabakh problem everywhere â€“ at the Committee, political groups, PACEâ€.

Moreover, Seyidov added that we had to wait till January 28 for holding the meeting related to Subcommittee.
