Azerbaijan elections report submitted to PACE session

According to APA European bureau, Iwinski said some of his colleagues didn’t like this report: “They called the report biased and said November 7 elections were not held correctly. I consider that it is very balanced report. Members of our observation mission noted that there was progress. The elections were held successfully, but PACE considers that Azerbaijan should make more efforts toward this to reach consensus in the field of elections. I believe PACE and Council of Europe will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan and assistance in strengthening of democratic system.â€
