According to APA, Tokes has reminded the forcefully prevention of peaceful independence movement by Soviet Troop in Baku and death and injuring of civil innocent people, on January 19-20, 1990. He also noted that, Soviet Union has used force in Baltic Countries Latvia and Lithuania and many civil persons have been murdered. He mentioned that, these tragedies had been shared as a general past and noted: “We have to prevent such events in the world, our region and neighbourhoodâ€.
He has also written that, he and his compatriots are against soviet totalitarian regime and establish a way to democracy. He has welcomed the determination and courage of Azerbaijani population, which has withstood oppression and struggled for democracy.
