President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of newly appointed Turkmenistanâ€™s ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku - APA. On January 19, President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan, Toyli Komekov, APA reports. President Aliyev emphasized the high-level cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and said that relations in economic sphere were developed. The President noted that dynamism of these relations would be maintained after this, agenda of relations between our fraternal and friendly nations would be extended. The head of state expressed his hope that mutual visits would be developed more during Komekovâ€™s activity in Azerbaijan and he wished success to new ambassador.

In turn, Komekov expressed pride of starting activity as an ambassador in Azerbaijan. Touching upon his activity with Azerbaijani counterparts related to the Caspian issue, the ambassador noted that Baku summit of Caspian littoral states was organized in a high level and the legal document signed during this summit assumed great importance.
