Azerbaijani and Georgian foreign ministers hold meeting

They give assessment to outcomes of last year and discussed prospective plans for 2011. Azerbaijan and Georgia are successfully developing bilateral relations and working for implementation of energy projects in the region. The ministers also discussed possibility of joint position of the two countries on the issues of mutual interests within the international organizations and implementation of joint projects with the European Union.

The sides emphasized the importance of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway for both countries and said the regional projects were directed toward the development of the region.

The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia spoke about the problem of territorial integrity that both countries faced and informed each other about the current state of negotiations on the solution to the conflicts.

The ministers exchanged views on the regional, global and other issues causing mutual interests.
