Sergei Lavrov: â€œRelying on support of our international partners, we try to move the process of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict this yearâ€

Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. â€œDonâ€™t prevent the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict with demonstrative polemics at the international tribunesâ€, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the press conference on Thursday, APA reports. He said the main issue in this phase was not to prevent the process. â€œWhile international organizations like UN and OSCE are involved in this work, the working discussions are turned into demonstrative polemics. Such acute changing of developments during the discussions of any issue doesnâ€™t help approach of positions, but causes confrontations between the sides and complicates approaching the problem. It was possible to overcome such syndromes so far, particularly thanks to our president who supported the Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders to form atmosphere for finding common points. Russian president will continue his efforts in this direction. We are regularly informing our partners in Washington and Paris about these efforts. Our international partners support Russiaâ€™s activity within the settlement of the problem. Relying on this support, we try to move the process this yearâ€.
