The meeting was held within the framework of summit of the heads of state and government of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Official statement was issued on behalf of the parties. The statement reads that foreign ministers discussed historical, cultural, economic, friendly relations between the countries, establishment of peace in the region and global world, measures towards struggle against arms, drug and human traffic in the region and settlement of protracted conflicts within the framework of the territorial integrity.
The ministers decided to have constant meetings and discuss the problems in the region.
The next meeting will be held in Iran.
