The delegations led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia David Jalagania, heads of executive powers of Gakh, Balakan, Zagatala, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Samukh and Tovuz regions of Azerbaijan bordering on Georgia are attending the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the participants visited the monument to Heydar Aliyev in Balakan.
Khalaf Khalafov told journalists that the commission had been functioning since 1996. Deputy Minister noted that the total border between Georgia and Azerbaijan was 480 km, the issue related to 300 km of it had been solved, work continued on 180 km.
The meeting will last for two days.
