Moscow. Viktoria Dementyeva – APA. “Armenia has become the hostage of its history and fails to break the deadlock. Turkish problem has had a strong influence on Armenia, Armenia’s one more door to the world has been closed. A question arises. Must everything be done with the help of Russia? Then it turns out that Russia is your master,” Russian political analyst Nikolai Zlobin said while meeting with the journalists from North and South Caucasus, APA reports.

Touching on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the political analyst noted that neither Russia nor the US was able to solve the conflict.
“Russia, US can not solve small conflicts. They are engaged in much bigger problems. They are working clumsily, resolution of the problems like Nagorno Karabakh conflict requires the hand of a neurosurgeon. Therefore, OSCE Minsk Group’s potentialities have been exhausted,” he said.

Nikolai Zlobin considers that the collapse of the Soviet Union has not ended, the process of the formation of the new political geography continues.
“The new political geography – this is a normal process. The land can not have nationality, religion, history. All this belongs to the people coming to live in these lands. Therefore, any historical references are very subjective. Politics can not be established on history. Otherwise, public consciousness is manipulated and politicians want to justify their policy with the past,” he said.
