Azerbaijani Foreign Minister held meetings in New York

Baku â€“ APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov held series of meetings in New York. He met with the Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze and discussed the level of current bilateral relations, energy projects carried out between the two countries and its prospective plans, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA. Elmar Mammadyarovâ€™s upcoming visit to Georgia was also in the focus of attention during the meeting.

Mammadyarov also met with the Portugalâ€™s Foreign Minister Luis Philippe Marques Amado. They discussed the bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sphere. Mammadyarov stressed the possibility of Azerbaijan-Portugal business forum. His counterpart emphasized the necessity of presentation of Azerbaijan to the Portugal community. Mammadyarov answered the Portuguese ministerâ€™s question about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and informed him about the details of the negotiations over the solution to the conflict. Luis Philippe Marques Amado accepted the invitation to visit Azerbaijan. The sides discussed other issues of mutual interests.
