Azerbaijani President meets with Hungarian Prime Minister

Baku â€“ APA. On September 14, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban. The Head of State emphasized the importance of the Prime Ministerâ€™s visit for discussion of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, APA reports. He said he was hopeful that the relations would be developed successfully further.

Prime Minister Orban said the visit created good opportunity to discuss the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations and expressed confidence in useful discussions during the visit.

The importance of AGRI project for the extension of energy cooperation between the sides was emphasized at the meeting.

Azerbaijan-Hungary bilateral relations were underlined as a significant factor in the development of cooperation within the European Union. The sides said there was good potential for the development of relations between the countries in all spheres, including the humanitarian field.
