Baku hosts roundtable on Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan bilateral relations

Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. Today, roundtable on Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan bilateral relations has been held in Baku, APA reports. Director of Kazakhstan’s Institute for Strategic Studies under the Kazakh president Bolat Sultanov delivered keynote speech. He spoke about big potential for development of bilateral relations between our countries and noted the importance of settlement of the problem related to the status of the Caspian Sea. Touching upon Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Sultanov said that Kazakhstan was the supporter of peaceful solution to this problem: “This conflict can not be regulated by force”.

Sultanov said that Kazakhstan used Azerbaijan’s practice on oil and gas transference.

Delivering speech at the roundtable Kazakhstan’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov highly assessed the cooperation between the two countries in bilateral and international arena. The ambassador noted that these relations were brotherly relations.

Members of the parliament, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, political analysts, experts attended the roundtable.

Remind that, the first analogic roundtable was held in November, 2008, in Kazakhstan.
