President of Azerbaijan receives Chairman of Dutch Senate Rene van der Linden

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Kingdom of Netherlands Rene van der Linden. According to APA, Rene van der Linden expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and with friendly relations between Azerbaijan and his country. The guest noted that he headed Azerbaijan-Dutch friendship group after the chairmanship at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and said he attached great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan as a Senate Chairman too.

The Head of State highly appreciated Rene van der Lindenâ€™s activity during his chairmanship in the Azerbaijan-Dutch friendship group. President Aliyev said he was hopeful for further extension of relations between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands in the political, economic and other fields. The Head of State noted that there is good potential for the development of cooperation and expressed confidence that Rene van der Lindenâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the countries.
