According to APAâ€™s Karabakh bureau, the diplomats arrived in Barda region of Azerbaijan this morning. After the meeting with the Barda authorities, Bernard Fassier told journalists that they would issue a statement on the results of the visit. â€œOn behalf of our leaders and three co-chairs, I would like to tell you that it was very interesting for us to visit a region of Azerbaijan, which was unknown for us, to meet with local authorities and to get information about the situation in the region from them. We got valuable information about the internally displaced persons here, the situation and life conditions in the region, as well as valuable information, which is covering our mission. I have to tell you that we can not make any comments now because it is only first phase of our mission. We will make a statement in details about all aspects of our meetings in Azerbaijan and Armenia two-three days later in the end of our visitâ€. The Co-Chairs are planning to cross the contact line during the monitoring. They will hold meeting in Khankendi on Wednesday and in Yerevan on Thursday.
