APA reports quoting the Zaman newspaper that Ahmet Davutoglu washed his hands in the Arpachay river on Turkey-Armenia border.

Minister told journalists that peace and stability would be established in the Caucasus after the solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. According to him, more responsibility falls on Armenia.
“The opening of Turkey-Armenia and Azerbaijan-Armenia borders after the release of the occupied Azerbaijani territories will bring prosperity to the region. We hope Arpachay will become the symbol of peace,” he said.

Ahmet Davutoglu crossed Dilucu border checkpoint to Nakhchivan and met with the officials of the Autonomous Republic. Ahmet Davutoglu underlined that the borders with Armenia would be opened only after the end of Armenian occupation. He phoned Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and concerned himself with the deadly incident on the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani troops.

Noting the importance of Dilucu border checkpoint Minister said at the same time it would be a checkpoint among Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan. He said the foreign ministers of the three countries would meet in this region within several months.
“Abundance will spring up in these lands, if the permanent peace is established. Armenia will also make use of this potential. But peace is impossible unless the occupied territories are returned to Azerbaijan,” he said.
