Serzh Sargsyan: If the resolution introduced to the UN by Azerbaijan is accepted, Armenia will take steps

He says dozens of countries, first of all the countries represented in the Organization of Islamic Conference will vote for the draft.
â€œBut I am sure that the countries that wish peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict will vote against this resolution, because all of them know that the acceptance of this resolution will not have a positive influence on the negotiations,â€ he said.

Sargsyan considers that Azerbaijan is making a blunder.
â€œWe should use it to reach our goals. We will take steps and they will bring us closer to our goal. We want Azerbaijan and other countries to understand that there is no way back. Rejoining of Karabakh to Azerbaijan is impossible,â€ he said.

The draft resolution â€œAbidance by norms of the international humanitarian law and international standards in the occupied Azerbaijani territoriesâ€ will be put to the vote during the 65th session of the UN General Assembly on September 9.
