Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will not follow sanctions against Iran, the organization’s Secretary General Mohammad Yahya Maroofi said, APA reports quoting IRNA News Agency.
He expressed hope that ECO’s member countries overcome the obstacles and expand the transportation and free trade inside the organization.
Late in July the European Union countries applied extra sanctions on Iran. The sanctions are mainly connected with oil and gas sector.
