Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. UK ambassador to Azerbaijan Carolyn Brown and US charge d’affaires Donald Lu have raised stake over the US-England World Cup match on Saturday. According to APA, Donald Lu said he thought the US team would win the Saturday’s match. “If it wins the UK ambassador will wear Uncle Sam’s capâ€. Ambassador Brown said she rooted for Azerbaijani clubs and added that she believed the English team would win the World Cup clash tomorrow.
19th World Cup starts on Friday in South Africa. English and US teams will meet on Saturday in C Group.
