“I think this agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey is absolutely critical. It changes the face of everything. I think it makes Nabucco unnecessary and unlikely. Clearly it is something that will free Turkey from dependence of Russia But I also think that will open a new period in American-Azerbaijani relations. But especially it strengthens Turkey. I think this is going to represent the stable basis for relations in the region for energy,†he said.
