Natural gas contracts between Azerbaijan and Turkey were appreciated as a new phase of cooperation between the countries and importance of the documents were emphasized at the meeting. President Aliyev and Prime Minister Erdogan expressed confidence in further successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of energy and other spheres.
Azerbaijani President and Turkish Prime Minister exchanged opinions about the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. President Aliyev expressed full support to Turkey regarding the latest events on the Mediterranean Sea and offered condolences on the killing of innocent Turkish civilians during those events. The head of state said Azerbaijan was always supporting Turkey in this issue.
