He said according to Israeli media reports the persons on board the ship were not peaceful.
“A lot of munitions with the words Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and HAMAS written on them, € 1 million were found on board the ship,†he said.
The diplomat says though this territory has been blockaded by Israel and Egypt since HAMAS seized control in Gaza, 10,000 missiles were fired to Israel from that territory within 3 years, on June 3, 5 missiles were fired to Israel from Gaza.
The diplomat says that Israel does not object to carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, a ship has left Ireland for Gaza , there are citizens of France among them.
“After the cargo is checked at Ashdod port, it will be delivered,†he said.
Michael Lavon-Lotem underlined that Iran also participates in sending arms to Gaza.
